The week in review

Too much to summarize over the last week and a half, so I'll leave you with pictures:

Labor Day float on the Yellowstone River, plenty of fish caught this evening

Work trip to Alaska yielded some nice silver salmon over the weekend between meetings
 

One of many sockeye caught over the weekend.  Amazed at how they would move to the fly and attack - had not seen that happen before

 



Another big male silver.  That is not my fly hooked near his adipose - I tried removing it and could not

Sockeye stacked up in the Russian River.  There were a lot of silvers, humpies, and trout stacked up, as well - they are just much harder to see

Switched to targeting trout on Sunday morning - first cast (also, you can see the Russian is crowded)


A two-footer to wrap up the weekend
