A hell of a weekend in the plains

I don't venture out to eastern Montana often.  A couple work trips over the last couple years didn't fall during hunting season, but this time it was different.  After the formalities of walking through a project site finished up Thursday, a friend (who was also working on the project) and I decided to hit some block management in NE Montana.  Here are the results:

A limit of roosters makes for a heavy game bag.  About 2 miles from the truck.

My dad's late 60s Remington 1100 and two roosters on the seocnd day.  Val didn't really help, but she poses well next to them on the tailgate.

The final results:  9 roosters and one sharptail.  An elk shed found while out on a long walk.
