Hunting Daypack / Day Hunt Gear List

 I have a goal to add weights to this list and get an overall bag weight soon. When I first started actually documenting what was included, I realized that a comparison to ultralight hunting pack lists was not going to be possible, and this was just the reality of what I have become comfortable carrying in the mountains in Montana over the last decade. 

Pack Setup for Day Hunt/Hike Sans Rifle

The list is what would be typical for mid season (October) hunting. Many variations will occur which are weather dependent earlier or later in the season. Certain deer or pronghorn hunts where I may be going for a sit along a river bottom, or staying within view of the truck outside of bear country, will behave differently.
